18th MO: Tunable Isolation Feet and CF Block

I am conducting the 18th mass order for a set of 4 tunable isolation feet and carbon fiber composite isolation block for turntable, CD player, Blu-Ray player, DAC, amp, subwoofer and loudspeakers, etc, specially catered to the needs of audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts.
Their prices are:
Tunable isolation feet : SGD 40 per set (1 set consists of 4 tunable isolation feet)
Carbon fiber composite isolation block : SGD 30 per block
This MO closes on Sunday, 15th January 2017 at 9pm. All payments must receive by then.

It takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks from order to collection of goods.

1. Self-collect at my block in Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 (weekday after 9pm or Sunday afternoon), or
2. Self-collect at Raffles Place MRT station on a Saturday 12 noon, or
3. Via courier service. Flat rate of SGD 10 for up to 2kg delivery within mainland Singapore

INTRODUCTION:
Ever encounter track skipping or pause when you accidentally bump or knock your equipment rack/table? Here is your ultimate solution without the need to modify your disc player. You can use these feet for your PC too (a friend of mine claims they reduce fan noise).
A Swedish invention, these highly effective support feet use springs to isolate components and combat vibration. Each foot consists of a pair of acrylic discs sandwiching steel springs for 'floating' isolation. Best of all, you can add or subtract springs in each disc to fine-tune it for a specific component for best sound quality and optimum support by weight. These feet will lower the noise floor of your system quite audibly.

CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE ISOLATION BLOCK : SGD 30 per block
INTRODUCTION:
I discovered these carbon fiber blocks by accident. What happened was one of my MO regulars wanted something different other than the spring-loaded isolation feet (he bought some from me). He didn't want spikes or cones. I remembered my supplier has a type of carbon fiber blocks that work differently from conventional isolation devices. They are great for structurally-compromised platform such as wall shelves and bookshelves, as well as many hifi equipment racks made of laminated fiber boards. They help control and suppress passive resonance. Initially I was reluctant to bring in these blocks because of their higher price but after I tried them, I am convinced they are worth the price.
These carbon fiber blocks work fantastically with my Tivoli Audio Model One FM/AM radio. My mono radio actually sounds stereo (no kidding!). Instruments are more 3D and open. Vocals are more lifelike and robust. Overall, the radio sounds so much better than before. My Tivoli radio is sitting on a MDF wall shelf in my home office.
After this "accident", I decided to offer these blocks as part of my isolation devices mass order.
WHAT IS PASSIVE RESONANCE?
Vibration not only comes from mechanical components such as CD or record player. Pre-amp, power-amp, DAC and other non-mechanical equipment vibrate as well. This type of vibration is known as passive resonance.
Take a look at our entire audio system... The largest oscillator (or vibrating body) is the loudspeakers. More than 80% of Singaporeans live in a flat or apartment. Within such a small and enclosed space, the higher the sound pressure, the greater the vibration. Modern furnishings such as wood floors, racks, shelves and tabletops, etc. are made of thin, hollow or semi-hollow plywood and MDF boards. They are especially susceptible to passive resonance. These carbon fiber blocks will buffer and suppress passive resonance to give a cleaner, clearer and more stable soundscape.
