Mint condition Cary SLP 03 preamp for sale , it also have a very good sound tube headphone out , with remote , boxes and manual
CARY AUDIO SLP 03 TUBE PREAMPLIFIER The front panel display is a vacuum florescent display (VFD) with a blue lens. The display shows critical control functions from a Motorola CPU incorporated inside the preamplifier. The display brightness levels are adjustable with the remote control. The CPU stores all user-selected information for the volume level of each input and the balance setting for each channel. This processor is the controller "brain" for all active functions.
Take a look at the back and you see plenty of inputs and outputs. One fully balanced XLR input and output, along with 4 stereo pair RCA inputs, one pair of Cinema Bypass inputs, and a tape monitor loop. Then you get 2 pair of RCA outputs and 1 pair balanced XLR outs.
The analog audio section includes a total of eight ( 8 ) fully regulated power supplies with separate supplies for each channel’s vacuum tube analog circuitry, plus the multiple power supplies for the front panel alphanumeric display and supplies for the Motorola microprocessor.
The SLP 03 has a very low output impedance, which makes it easy to integrate in with virtually any amp, solid state or vacuum tube. The family insisting on home theater? Enter Cinema Bypass. The SLP 03 uses a unity gain circuit. In this case, unity gain is achieved when the volume control is set to 47.
This preamp is a true dual-mono design. Notice the two big power transformers. Each channel has its own transformer and power supplies, giving the SLP-03 incredible channel separation. There are 4 active gain stages inside which achieves the truly balanced circuitry. All this running in class A with zero feedback.
