The chief characteristic of this beautifully crafted tuner amplifier from 1977 is its transparency, followed by thrilling bass, and wide soundstage, oozing a warm sound comparable to their SANSUI rivals.
Specifications Tuning range: FM, MW Power output: 25 watts per channel into 8 Ohms (stereo) Frequency response: 7Hz to 50kHz Total harmonic distortion: 0.5% Input sensitivity: 2.5mV (MM), 150mV (line) Signal to noise ratio: 65dB (MM), 80dB (line) Output: 150mV (line) Speaker load impedance: 4 Ohms (minimum) Dimensions: 420 x 142 x 295mm Weight: 7.4kg Year: 1977 ADJUSTED TO LOCAL VOLTAGE: 240V (i.e. no step up transformer required, just plug and play)
If you are looking for a partially restored vintage amplifier with tuner to play both LP and CD sources, this is one to collect and treasure. A few capacitors changed, and some joints resoldered, while original transformer retained (still in perfect condition). Transistors selectively changed only where they appear ageing.
I will also provide speaker terminal adapters so you can connect the amp to the latest spade/banana terminated cables.
Asking S$450.00, slightly negotiable. If interested, SMS/Whatsapp/Call: ALAN @ 94577620.
