1. Windows Resource Monitor (Most Accurate)
The best way to see your real-time ping is to use the Resource Monitor on Windows. You don’t need any extra software.
Steps:
Open the Start menu and search for Resource Monitor. Click on the Network tab. In the TCP Connections section, find Aion2.exe in the Image column. Look at the Latency (ms) column to see your current ping.
This method shows exactly how the game is communicating with the server in real time.
2. Use Network Optimization Tools
Since Aion 2 servers are mainly in Korea and Taiwan, many players use boosters that show ping and sometimes improve connection routes.
GearUP Booster: Offers an instant ping test for Aion 2 servers inside the app or via its browser tool. ExitLag: Lets you select Aion 2, shows real-time ping, and includes a Network Analyzer to trace your connection path.
These tools are handy if you play from far away or have frequent spikes in latency.
3. Command Prompt (Manual Check)
You can also test ping manually if you know the server's IP:
Open CMD (Command Prompt). Type ping [Server IP] -t and press Enter.
Note: Finding the server IP can be tricky, so using Resource Monitor or boosters is usually easier.
Quick Tips to Reduce Lag
If your ping is high (over 150–200 ms), try these fixes:
Use Ethernet: Swap Wi-Fi for a wired connection to avoid signal interference. Adjust Graphics: Set Frame Rate Limit to Unlimited, reduce Shadow Quality and Texture Detail to Medium. Close Background Apps: Stop downloads or streaming apps that eat up bandwidth. Pick the Right Server: Choose a server closer to your location (Taiwan or Korea) for lower latency.
Monitoring your ping in Aion 2 is simple once you know these tools. A little setup can make your gameplay much smoother, whether you’re grinding in dungeons, raiding, or exploring the world.
