Unlocking this specific companion heavily relies on the game’s core monster-hunting, exploration, and soul-collection loops.
Here is a practical, straightforward breakdown of exactly how to unlock the Baby Flomeow and what you will need to max it out.
Unlocking the Baby Flomeow Pet
To get the base Baby Flomeow pet unlocked and added to your collection, you need to gather exactly 10 Flomeow Pet Souls. It sounds simple enough, but there are a few mechanics you need to keep in mind so you don't waste time spinning your wheels.
Locating the Pet: First, you don't need to guess where these creatures spawn. Open up your in-game Pet Menu and look through the list of unearned pets. Find the Baby Flomeow and click over to its Source tab. From there, you can pin the designated map zone directly to your UI. This will highlight specific, high-density spawn spots where Flomeow monsters hang out.
Farming the Souls: Once you make your way to the marked zone, start hunting the Flomeow mobs. Every qualifying kill guarantees you 1 pet soul point. However, be careful with your skills if the area is crowded. If you are using massive Area of Effect (AoE) attacks and another player tags or damages your mob, your soul drop is no longer a 100% guarantee.
