Creek CAS 3040 Tuner Made between 1982-1989 * Build quality: outside looks nothing special, black and flat, minimalistic, but inside, it's all premium parts from England, Spain, Japan and military grade circuit boards/soldering techniques. * Fabulous sound quality, some say it was considered to be only bettered by the Naim NAT 01 in the mid 80s - it was that good sounding. Yet another uses his CAS 3040 often and his Magnum Dynalab now sits in the closet - Extracted from Audio Asylum forum
If you’re after serious radio sound for peanuts, then it’s the Creek’s 3040. No need for fancy decoders or streaming devices, it still gives a taste of that classic tuner sound. It’s warm, smooth, open & dimensional, yet detailed and defined too. Asking $380. Contact 9150four7ninetyone if interested.

Some say music is food for the soul while others say one man's music can be another man's noise. But all we know is, it's still called Music.
